26th – 28th March 2026 – I will be taking part in the Craft4Crafters / Stitching4All show at West Point, Clyst St Mary, Exeter EX5 1DJ

17th March 2026 – I will be leading a workshop for Wimborne Stitchers who meet at Three Legged Cross Village Hall, BH21 6SG

12th January 2026 – Visiting Dorset Creative Embroiderers in Corfe Mullen, Nr Wimborne, Dorset, to lead a workshop making a “Beach Hut” Nightlight.

8th – 21st January 2026 – I am returning to Sir Harold Hillier Gardens, Jermyns Lane, Ampfield, Romsey SO51 0QA, taking part in an exhibition with 3 friends. Titled “Art and More” the 4 of us – Alison Hulme, Jenny O’Leary, Viv Arthur and myself will be exhibiting a wide variety of textile art.

3rd December 2025 – I will be giving a talk to North Hampshire Quilt Group. They meet from 11am at Everest Community Centre Oxford Way, Sherborne St John, Basingstoke RG24 9UP

27th – 29th November 2025 – Off to Craft4Crafters & Stitching4All Show at the Bath & West Showground, Shepton Mallet. A great show with a variety of traders plus many artists demonstrating their crafts by running workshops.

4th October 2025 – I am looking forward to re visiting the Blackmore Vale Creative Textile Group in Sherborne. They meet at Leweston School, Sherborne, Dorset DT9 6EN. I will be leading my “Set the Town Alight” Nightlight workshop.

3rd September 2025 – I am visiting Fair Oak Art & Craft Society to give a talk. The meeting starts at 7.30pm at Village Hall, Shorts Road, Fair Oak, Eastleigh, SO50 7EJ

16th – 25th August 2025 – I will be taking part in Hampshire Open Studios. This will be at Alison Hulme studio – The Studio at Home Farm, Whiteshoot, Redlynch, Nr Salisbury SP5 2PR. Shown on the HOS New Forest map as near Lover.

26th / 27th April – I will be taking part in the Brockenhurst Needlework Fiesta, at Brockenhurst Village Hall, Brockenhurst. Its a great show, lots of traders down stairs and upstairs in the gallery 15 different textile artists demonstrating a variety of skills.

27th March to 29th March – I will be taking part in the Craft 4 Crafters show at West Point, Clyst St Mary, Exeter, EX5 1DJ

15th / 16th March I am off to the Isle of Wight, to visit the Isle of Wight Embroiderers, giving a talk and then the following day teaching a “Paint & 2 Veg” workshop. The group meet at Arreton Community Centre, Main road, Arreton, Isle of Wight PO30 3AD and the workshop will be at Whippingham Community Hall, 3 Alverstone Road, East Cowes. PO32 6NR

3rd March – I am visiting Christchurch Creative Embroiderers they meet at Reform Church, Ropley Road, Bournemouth BH7 6RU and will be making a small beach hut themed bag.

8th February – I am teaching my mug rug workshop at SWISH (Somerset and Wiltshire Independent Stitch Hub) who meet at Christchurch Hall, Park Rd, Frome BA11 1EU.

3rd / 4th February – I will be visiting New Forest Quilters first to give a talk and the following day teaching my nightlight workshop. The Group meet at New Milton Community Centre, Osborne Road, New Milton, BH25 6EA

31st January – I will be visiting a group in Southampton

29th January 2025 – I will be giving a talk to Reading Embroiderers at 1.30pm they meet at David’s Hall, Park United Reformed Church, Palmer Park Avenue, Reading RG6 1DN.

14th September – I am visiting the North Somerset Textile Group to teach my Hostas workshop. The group meet at Cleeve Village Hall, Main Rd, Cleeve, Bristol BS49 4PF

7th September – 23rd November – The Alchemists Needle textile group, of which I am a member, will be holding an exhibition at Whitchurch Silk MIll, 28 Winchester St, Whitchurch RG28 7AL, There are 8 artists who have taken part in several “group projects” as well as producing art in their own style. It will be a very varied and interesting exhibition. Most weekends you can “meet the makers” as 2 artists will be stewarding the exhibition. Plus in the October half term holidays there will be a childrens workshop. Details to follow.

17th – 26th August – I am taking part in Hampshire Open Studios with my very good friend Alison Hulme at her studio: The Studio at Home Farm, Whiteshoot, Redlynch, Nr Salisbury SP5 2PR. Alison is known for her hand printed pinnies, bags and art canvases but she has lots of other beautiful things to see and buy. We are also having other textile artists joining us and we are going back to the roots of Open Studios: Every day there will be demonstrations by the artists who are at the studio that day. Of course Alison will be printing/painting/dyeing fabric every day.

20th July – I will be teaching my Home is “Where the Art Is” workshop at the New Forest Textile Group at Brockenhurst Village Hall SO42 7RY, located in the beautiful New Forest

5th July – The Alchemists Needle textile group, which I belong to, will be taking part in Weftival – a textile event at Whitchurch Silk MIll, 28 Winchester St, Whitchurch RG28 7AL,

4th July – I will be visiting Mole Valley Quilters they meet at 7.15 at the Old Barn Hall, Church Road, Great Bookham, Surrey. KT23 3PQ. I will be giving my talk

28th / 29th June – I will be on the other side of the table as it were. With my friends in the Alchemists Needle Textile Group I am looking forward to taking part in a wiorkshop led by Orange Thread Suzy

13th June – I am teaching Flower Patch Quilters at the beautiful Cowslip Studios in Launceston

12th June – A visit to Ashburton in South Devon

4th June – I am visiting the Torbay Textiles and Stitch group who meet at Barn Hall, Galmpton, Devon TQ5 0LT. I will be teaching my Snowy Nightlight workshop.

25th May – Visiting a group at Templecombe Village Hall. This time teaching my Beach Hut Doorstop workshop.

11th May – Teaching my Nightlight workshop to the Malmesbury Textile Group. They meet at Little Somerford, Malmesbury SN15 5JW

4th May – I will be teaching my Hosta workshop to the ladies of Blackmore Vale Creative Textiles group. They meet Leweston School, Sherborne, Dorset DT9 6EN

27th / 28th April – I will be taking part in the Brockenhurst Needlework Fiesta at Brockenhurst Village Hall, Highwood Rd, SO42 7RY. This year I will on the ground floor as “a trader” selling my kits and fabric. This means there are more new artists upstairs in the artists gallery demonstrating their various crafts. Its a really busy show do come and see us all if you are in the area, sure I’m you won’t be disappointed,

4th – 6th April – I am really looking forward to taking part in the Craft4Crafters, Stitching4All show at West Point, Clyst St Mary, Exeter EX5 1DJ. I will be teaching 1 hour workshops – this time it will be my Quayside Postcard. There are a great number of workshops on offer in all manor of crafts. Visit the website to book your place.

24th March – I will be visiting my good friend Alison Hulmes Studio on the Hampshire Wiltshire border. The address: Studio at Home Farm, Whiteshoot, Redlynch Nr Salisbury SP5 2PR, running an “Home is Where the Art is”, A textile interpretation of your own house, a favourite building or a particular feature of a building that you love. You will need to bring your own sewing machine and threads, together with a “embroidery foot” and normal straight stitch foot for your machine.  A small class of just 6 students. 19th March – A return visit to WCE Wimborne this time to lead my “Crazy Daisy” workshop. The group meet at Three Legged Cross Village Hall, Wimborne, Dorset. BH21 6SG

9th March – I am looking forward to visiting the Somerset Creative Textiles Group, this time I will be teaching my “Hostas” workshop. The group meet at Horton Village Hall, Broadway Hill, Horton,     Nr ILMINSTER TA19 9QP.

6th March – I am visiting Alverstoke Quilters to lead my Tea Bag Brooch workshop.

26th February – I am returning to Romsey Quilters, this time to lead a workshop making a Beach Hut Doorstop. They meet at Crosfield Hall, Broadwater Road, Romsey, SO51 8GL

12th February – I will leading a short “Tea bag workshop” for Andover Stitchers, my local stitch group which I am a member of. The meeting is held at the Fairground Hall, Weyhill Andover SP11 0QN

23rd January – 4th February I am taking part in an exhibition at Sir Harold Hillier Gardens in Romsey. I am a member of the Zero Nine Textile Artists Group and we regularly exhibit at the Gardens

18th November and 25th November I am teaching my nightlight workshop, just in time for Christmas. at K & B Sewing Machines, Unit 24B, Romsey Industrial Estate Greatbridge Rd, Romsey SO51 0HR 

13th November Farnham Quilters have invited me to talk about my work. They meet at Spire Church Hall, Farnham, GU9 7QU. The meetings start at 7.30

2nd November – I am visiting Chichester Quilters to talk about the Art Quilt I made – Starting in 2016 and finished it in lockdown!! The quilters meet at Lavant Memorial Hall, Pook Ln, East Lavant, Chichester PO18 0AH and the meetings start at 10am.

21st October I have been invited to Solent Textiles to lead my snowy Nightlight workshop. They meet at The  Village Hall, Titchfield PO14 4AQ.

12th – 14th October– I am really pleased to be taking part in The Craft4Crafters and Stitching4All show at the Bath & West Showground, Shepton Mallet. I have been a regular exhibitor at the show for a number of years now and each year the show gets bigger and better. Check their website for details of the coach trips that will get you there, the workshops on offer and much more.

6th October I am returning to Ardington School of Craft, The Old School, School Road, Wantage OX12 8PN, to teach my Nightlight workshop

28th September – I am visiting the Thameside Stitchers to talk about my work. They meet at St Johns Community Centre, 80 St Johns Rd, Isleworth TW7 6RU. The meeting starts at 7.45pm

7th /8th August – I am very excited to be taking part in Missenden School of Creative Arts Summer School. I will be teaching my “Daisy Crazy” workshop. Please see all the details and images on my workshop pages or on the Missenden School of Art website. Please contact them direct to book a place.

22nd July – I will be visiting my good friend Alison Hulmes Studio on the Hampshire Wiltshire border. The address: Studio at Home Farm, Whiteshoot, Redlynch Nr Salisbury SP5 2PR.running an “Introduction to Machine Embroidery”, For those new to the technique it will be a fun day learning how to “draw” with your sewing machine. You will need to bring your own sewing machine and threads, together with a “embroidery foot” and normal straight stitch foot for your machine.  A small class of just 6 students. 19th / 20th July – I am running 2 one day workshops at Ardington School of Crafts, The Old School, School Road, Wantage OX12 8PN. “Paint & 2 veg” In the morning you will create a design on a piece of fabric using potato print (or carrot if you want round prints) In the afternoon you will embellish the design with free motion embroidery. 13th July – I am visiting Salisbury Stitch and Textile Group. An afternoon workshop making “Tea Bag Brooches”. The group meet at St George’s Hall, Lower Street, Harnham, Salsibury SP2 8EY

4th July – 17th July – I am a member of the Zero Nine Tezxtile Artists group and we are holding an exhibition of our work at Sir Harold Hillier Gardens, Nr Romsey SO51 0QA. There will be 2 artists stewarding every day, come and meet us, visit the beautiful gardens and then the cafe for well deserved refreshments.

15th June – I am visiting the Textile Workshop group at Droxford Village Hall. A workshop day developing designs for a textile art picture of their own home or a favourite building

8th June – This time giving a talk to Flower Patch Quilters at Cowslip Studios, Launceston. A lovely venue to end my “tour” of Devon and Cornwall for this year.

6th June – I am visiting the Totnes Brach of West Country Embroiderers another workshop day

5th June – I am running a workshop for the Torbay branch of West Country Embroiderers, their meetings are held at at The Barn Chapel Hall, Greenway Rd. Galmpton, Brixham, TQ5 0LT 

31st May – I’m off to Cornwall visiting a group in Liskeard to lead my Night light workshop

20th / 21st May – I am visiting East Kent Embroiderers. Presenting my talk on the Saturday and leading a workshop on the Sunday.

29th / 30th April – I am really looking forward to going back up to Kings Lynn to teach my new workshop “Daisy Crazy” at Eau Brink Studio, Pullover Rd, King’s Lynn PE34 4SG. Contact Anita at The Studio for full details and to book your place.

22nd / 23rd April – Brockenhurst Needlework Fiesta at Brockenhurst Village Hall, Highwood Rd, Brockenhurst, SO42 7RY. A great little show, Lots of traders downstairs and upstairs in the gallery artists will be demonstrating their disciplines: free motion embroidery, needlefelting, weaving, batik work, print and more.

15th April – I will be leading a workshop at my good friend Alison Hulme’s Studio. Situated on the Hamphire / Wiltshire border. The Studio at Home Farm, Whiteshoot, Redlynch, near Salisbury SP5 2PR. An introduction to free motion embroidery. A workshop for all – beginners or those just wishing to develop their skills further. You just need to bring your sewing machine and manual, machine threads – 2 or 3 in your favourite colours and a packed lunch. All other materials and tea &coffee will be provided. £60 for the day. 30th March – 1st April – I will be taking part in the Craft4Crafters & “Stitching 4 All” Show at West Point, Exeter. Looking forward to this event, the emphasis for 2023 will be more about stitch – make do and mend, dress making, sustainability and upcycling. as well as other craft supplies. 25th / 26th March – I am travelling up to Kings Lynn in Norfolt to take part in the West Norfolk Textile Fair at The Dukes Head Hotel. 5-6 Tuesday Market Pl, King’s Lynn PE30 1JS

14th March – An afternoon workshop for the Hedge End Arts and Crafts Club at Hedge End Village Hall, St Johns Rd, Hedge End SO30 4AF. They will be making one of my Tea Bag Brooches.

11th March – I am visiting Bristol Stitchers – teaching my Set the Town Alight, nightlight workshop. The group meet at Helliwell Room, Horfield Parish Church Hall, Wellington Hill, Horfield, Bristol BS7 8ST.

8th March – I will be a trader at West Country Embroiderers “Dorset Day to be held at  Hamworthy Club, Magna Road, Canford Magna, Wimborne. BH21 3AP

18th February – I am visiting the South Coast Textile Artists who meet at Rookesbury Hall, Newtown, Fareham PO17 6LE. I will be teaching either a print or a postcard workshop.

24th January – Following yesterdays workshop I will be giving my talk “From Start to Finish” to Romsey Quilters about an Art Quilt I completed in 2020. Meetings are held in the Crosfield Hall and start at 9.30am

23rd January – I will be teaching my very popular “Set the Town Alight” nightlight workshop to Romsey Quilters. The group meet at Crossfield Hall, Broadwater Rd, Romsey, SO51 8GL

3rd December – A visit to Sherborne Branch of West Country Embroiderers. My talk “How did I get here?” The talk is about my work and how I ended up doing what I do!. The group meet at The Manor House, Leweston School, Sherborne, DT9 6EN

12th November – I will be visiting Coastal Threads Group in Worthing and running my very popular Nightlight workshop.

November 2nd – 8th January. I will be taking part in an exhibition at Andover Museum – 6 Church Close, Andover SP10 1DP. I am a member of the Alchemists Needle Group, 8 ladies who are passionate about texiles. The work on display is very varied and most of it is for sale. We are also taking part in the Christmas Fair at the museum on Saturday 19th November so do come and meet us.

29th September – 1st October. The Craft4Crafters Show at the Bath & West Showground, Shepton Mallet, BA4 6QN. Always a good show, a variety of traders, exhibitors and workshops. The taster workshops are a great way to try out a new craft or refresh yuour memory on a skill you haven’t used for a while. I will be upstairs on the balcony floor, selling my kits and running some one hour taster workshops. Come and say hello!

10th September – Teaching my Nightlight workshop again, this time visiting the Somerset Stitch & Textile Group at Cleeve Village Hall, Main Rd, Cleeve, BS49 4PF.

5th September – I am off to Dorset, to the West Country Embroiderers, Christchurch Branch. I will be teaching a “Quayside Postcard” workshop. The group meet at Iford United Reform Church, Ropley Rd. Boscombe East, Bournemouth BH7 6RU

20th – 29th August – The Zero Nine Textile Group, of which I am a member, will be taking part in Hampshire Open Studios. We will be displaying and hopefully selling a wide variety of textile pieces, Pinnys, pictures, bags,bracelets, brooches, cards etc etc. Come and see us at Alison Hulmes studio: The Studio at Home Farm, Redlynch SP5 2PR. 11th / 12th June – I will be teaching for 2 days at Ardington School of Crafts. “Home is where the art is” I will teach you how to create a design from a photo of your own home or a favourite building. 21st May – I am teaching my Set the Town Alight workshop in Saltash, for the Brunel Quilters, they meet at the Baptist Church, Culver Road, SALTASH PL12 4DR. 

20th May – A Workshop for West Country Embroiderers, South Cornwall, in Truro. Meeting at Perranarworthal Village Hall, School Hill, Perranwell Station, Truro, TR3 7NJ 

18th May – On the way to Cornwall I will be spending a day teaching at Jam on Top Textiles at Colliton Barton Training Centre, Broadhembury, EX14 3LJ. Please get in touch with Sally direct if you are interested. There are a great many other workshops advertised on the Jam on Top website too.

7th May – I will be teaching my “Set the Town Alight” nightlight workshop to the Stitch Cotswold group – they meet at The Reddings Community Centre, North Road West, Cheltenham GL51 6RF.

23rd / 24th April – I will be demonstrating at the Brockenhurst Needlework Fiesta. Its a great show with plenty of traders as well as people demonstrating their craft. Held at Brockenhurst Village Hall, Highwood Rd, Brockenhurst SO42 7RY, in the heart of the New Forest.

29th March – A different workshop for the Hedge End Art & Craft Club. – my Quayside Postcard, an ideal short workshop that is an introduction to applique.

Thursday 24th – Saturday 26th March Craft4Crafters, Westpoint Centre, Clyst St Mary, Exeter, EX5 1DJ.

I love exhibiting at this show and after the last year or so really looking forward to meeting friends old and new, running my taster workshops and sharing Stand 82 with Margaret Beal, Do come and say hello.

Some coach company’s are running day trips so do check the Craft4Crafters website to see if there is a coach trip planned near you. Coaches have really big luggage spaces for all the goodies you buy!!
